Ferg Loves You
How do you make a proper burger? McDonalds way or perhaps Burger King way? If you are are Fergburger fanatic you will laugh at and ridicule these commercialized jokes supposedly representing the pinnacle of fast food/burger industry.
Fergburger operates in the middle of Queenstown and is always busy. In just few years they have bolted from being a small burger joint in the back alley to the main strip of Queenstown and become a landmark and almost reached a concept status. Your Queenstown experience simply will not be complete without a visit (or two) to ferg for a quick and tasty burger. Anyone having a burger at ferg will be quick to realize the reasons for the success story.
Big buns made to measure by a local bakery, equally big and tasty patties and reasonable price tag make fergburger an
attractive option for small or big hunger. And I feel compelled to stress the size of these burgers. Even the skimpiest
option on the menu is enough to tame a regular sized hunger and the monster of the menu, Big Al will be lunch and dinner rolled into one. I had Big Al only once and struggled to finish the whole burger even though this was late in the afternoon and had had no meal prior to the burger! As someone who can appreciate a good tasty burger I really connected with fergburger and their concept of making burgers. I do have a small complaint though. As I sampled the place frequently few times I was served a burger with a pattie that was not quite fully cooked. I guess this might happen sometimes as the place can get really busy and they try to get the burgers done reasonaly fast. Even so Fergeburger still has cemented its position as one of the best burger joints and is worth a visit.
